CV Sapiens is an AI-powered resume and cover letter builder that provides:
Automated resume analysis and AI-generated content recommendations
Resume and cover letter templates and design customization tools
AI-assisted resume optimization based on job descriptions
PDF export functionality for resumes and cover letters
Important Disclaimer:
The Service provides automated resume analysis and AI-generated recommendations. Results are informational and probabilistic in nature. CV Sapiens does not guarantee employment, job interviews, ATS (Applicant Tracking System) ranking success, or any specific career outcomes. AI suggestions may contain inaccuracies and should be reviewed and verified by you before use.
To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. When registering, you agree to:
Provide accurate, current, and complete information
Maintain and promptly update your account information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
CV Sapiens reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason we deem necessary to protect the Service and its users.
Ownership: You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload, create, or submit through the Service ("User Content"), including but not limited to resumes, cover letters, personal information, and employment history.
License to CV Sapiens: By uploading or creating User Content, you grant CV Sapiens a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
Store, process, and display your User Content to provide the Service
Use your User Content to generate AI-powered recommendations and optimizations
Improve our AI models and service quality (consistent with our Privacy Policy)
User Content Restrictions: You represent and warrant that:
You own or have the legal right to use all User Content you upload
Your User Content does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party
Your User Content is not unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, or violates any applicable laws
You will not impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your identity
CV Sapiens reserves the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful, offensive, or inappropriate.
Critical AI Disclaimer:
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate content suggestions, optimizations, and recommendations. You acknowledge and agree that:
AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, errors, or hallucinations
CV Sapiens does not guarantee the factual accuracy, completeness, or quality of AI-generated content
The Service does not provide legal, career, or professional advice
You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and approving all AI-generated content before use
You are responsible for the final content of your resume and cover letter, including all claims, dates, credentials, and employment history
CV Sapiens is not responsible for any consequences arising from your use of AI-generated content, including but not limited to misrepresentation claims, defamation, or professional liability. You agree to indemnify and hold CV Sapiens harmless from any claims related to AI-generated content you choose to use.
Subscription Plans: CV Sapiens offers both free and premium subscription plans. Premium plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) as selected during checkout.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You will be charged the then-current subscription fee for the next billing period.
Payment Processing: Payments are processed by third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe). CV Sapiens does not store your full payment card information. By providing payment information, you agree to the payment processor's terms and conditions.
Pricing Changes: CV Sapiens reserves the right to modify subscription pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect your current billing period but will apply to subsequent renewals. We will provide reasonable notice of any price changes.
Refunds: Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis at CV Sapiens' sole discretion. If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to premium features until the end of your current billing period.
Taxes: You are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or fees imposed by your jurisdiction in connection with your subscription.
Service Ownership: The Service, including all software, designs, templates, graphics, logos, text, and other content (excluding User Content), is owned by CV Sapiens and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Limited License: Subject to your compliance with these Terms, CV Sapiens grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal or internal business purposes.
Restrictions: You agree not to:
Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service or templates for commercial purposes
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or templates
Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
Template Copyright: All resume and cover letter templates are proprietary to CV Sapiens. While you may use templates to create your resumes, you may not redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit the template designs themselves.
You agree not to use the Service to:
Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
Scrape, crawl, or use automated systems to access the Service without authorization
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
Abuse, harass, or harm other users
Use the Service to create fraudulent, misleading, or defamatory content
Abuse or manipulate the AI system, including attempting to generate harmful or inappropriate content
Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate termination of your account and access to the Service.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
CV Sapiens processes personal data in compliance with applicable privacy laws, including the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD - General Data Protection Law) of Brazil. We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with LGPD requirements and other applicable data protection regulations.

Termination by You: You may cancel your account and stop using the Service at any time by accessing your account settings or contacting support.
Termination by CV Sapiens: CV Sapiens may suspend or terminate your account immediately, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any other reason we deem necessary.
Effect of Termination: Upon termination:
Your right to access and use the Service will immediately cease
You may export your User Content before termination (subject to data retention policies)
CV Sapiens may delete your account and User Content in accordance with our data retention policy
Data Retention: After account termination, CV Sapiens may retain your data for a reasonable period as required by law or for legitimate business purposes. You may request deletion of your data subject to applicable legal requirements.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
No warranty of uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation
No warranty that the Service will meet your requirements or expectations
No warranty of accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content
No warranty that the Service will result in job interviews, employment offers, or career success
No warranty that ATS systems will accept or favorably rank your resume
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CV SAPIENS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CV SAPIENS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
Damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service
Damages arising from AI-generated content, including inaccuracies or errors
Damages arising from job application outcomes, interview results, or employment decisions
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such cases, CV Sapiens' liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CV Sapiens, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
Your use or misuse of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your User Content, including any claims of infringement, defamation, or misrepresentation
Your use of AI-generated content, including any consequences arising from inaccuracies or errors
Any violation of applicable laws or third-party rights
CV Sapiens reserves the right to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with CV Sapiens' defense of such claims.
The Service may integrate with or use third-party services, including but not limited to:
Payment processors (e.g., Stripe) for subscription billing
Cloud hosting and database services (e.g., Supabase, Vercel)
AI service providers for content generation and optimization
CV Sapiens is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. CV Sapiens shall not be liable for any disruption, failure, or issue arising from third-party services.
CV Sapiens reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:
Posting the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last Updated" date
Sending an email notification to the address associated with your account (for material changes)
Displaying a notice within the Service
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service and may cancel your account.
Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Brazil, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

CV Sapiens explicitly disclaims any guarantee, warranty, or representation regarding:
Job interviews or employment opportunities
Job offers or employment outcomes
ATS (Applicant Tracking System) pass rates or ranking success
You are solely responsible for verifying and ensuring the accuracy of all information in your resume and cover letter, including but not limited to:
Employment dates and work history
Educational credentials, degrees, and certifications
Skills, qualifications, and achievements
Contact information and personal details
CV Sapiens is not responsible for any fraudulent claims, false information, or misrepresentations made by users in their resumes or cover letters. You agree that CV Sapiens shall not be liable for any consequences arising from inaccurate, false, or misleading information you include in your documents, including but not limited to legal action by employers, professional licensing boards, or regulatory authorities.
You retain full ownership of the content of your exported resumes and cover letters (PDF, DOCX, or other formats). However, the template designs, layout structures, and proprietary formatting remain the intellectual property of CV Sapiens.
